Description
A numbered edition print capturing one of Ono's recurrent subjects: the old street, narrow and layered with signage, utility wires, and close-set facades. Where conventional landscape printmakers sought picturesque nature, Ono found his material in the dense grain of urban life — the texture of walls, the geometry of windows, the stacked signage of commercial districts. The "Old Street" series distills decades of attentive city-watching into taut, modernist compositions.
