Morpheus, the Greek deity of dreams, lends this etching its framework of sleep and vision. The second work in this series likely combines natural imagery — possibly flowering plants, drifting water, or nocturnal fauna — with distorted spatial arrangements that suggest the logic of dreaming rather than waking observation. Fudezuka's burin engraving technique produces crisp, controlled lines capable of describing both delicate botanical forms and the ambiguous zones where forms dissolve. The word 'conspiracy' implies a collusion between the natural world and the dream state, with the composition perhaps organizing recognizable organic elements into configurations that resist literal reading. Shadow and light are distributed to destabilize the viewer's spatial orientation.
