Bird in Plum Tree (Year of the Snake)

A single bird with a rounded body and short beak perches on a gnarled, angular plum branch, rendered entirely in bold black woodcut lines against unprinted cream paper. Clusters of stylized plum blossoms in solid black and outlined circles branch upward and outward around the bird, flanked by two columns of Japanese characters and a small "UN" monogram, with a red seal at lower right and pencil inscription below the image.
