Chrysanthemum

Two chrysanthemum blooms in orange-red with long, curling, spiky petals rise on green stems with jagged, dark-veined leaves against a plain cream ground; the taller flower is fully open while the smaller one to its left is still partly closed. A red seal is printed near the lower right of the composition. This woodblock print, titled *Chrysanthemum*, is by Hiratsuka Un'ichi (year unknown).
