The ancient city of Kudara — Paekche, one of the Three Kingdoms of Korea — is rendered here through its surviving landscape rather than any reconstructed architecture. Hiratsuka's undated woodblock captures the old capital's topography, the hills and valleys that once contained a kingdom now visible only as landscape. The print belongs to his Korean historical sites documentation.
