Description
A Victoria and Albert Museum print dated to 1808, catalogued without a descriptive title. The 1808 date places the impression within Toyohiro's middle career, the same period in which he was producing his major Eight Views landscapes and his most accomplished bijin-ga, and the survival of the print in a major museum collection makes it a useful witness to the breadth of his output even when full subject information is not preserved. Without further title or compositional description from the museum record, the most that can be said is that the print is a verified Toyohiro design of 1808, held in the V&A's Asian collections.
