An abstract composition built from broad, gestural brushstrokes: a large cloud-like mass of grey and black ink pooling and bleeding across the upper-left and center, set against a wide horizontal band of deep blue swept across the lower portion of the sheet. The strokes are loose and calligraphic, with visible dry-brush texture at the edges, over an unpainted cream-toned paper ground; a signature and "93" are inscribed in brush at the lower right. *Work*, by Waichi Tsutaka, 1993, ink and color on paper laid down to panel.
