Work

Abstract composition on unprimed, coarsely woven canvas, its texture left visible throughout. Loose black lines form an irregular grid of horizontal and vertical strokes with one circular form at right, overlaid on patches of thin blue-gray wash; a signature and date are inscribed in black at the lower center. The palette is limited to black line work and muted blue-gray tones against the canvas's natural grey-brown ground.
