Description
Sonia on the Hill is a bold color woodblock print in flat blue, brown, cream, and green tones: a curly-haired figure in a pinstriped baseball uniform grips a ball at close range in the foreground, set against a large pale-blue rendering of the Statue of Liberty and a distant ballfield with tiny spectators. An inset panel in the lower right depicts a black-and-white baseball scene of players colliding at a base. William Evertson, 2025.
