Mitsuaki Sora

Mitsuaki Sora (空充秋, born 1934) is a Japanese woodblock print artist known for his abstract compositions created using traditional mokuhanga techniques. Working over many decades, Sora has explored the expressive possibilities of the woodblock medium through non-representational forms, patterns, and color relationships. His prints reflect a sustained investigation of abstraction within the framework of Japanese printmaking tradition. His work has been exhibited in Japan and is held in private collections.
