Description
A fifth untitled print by Aoyama Masaharu. His bird compositions — owls, cormorants, pheasants, seagulls — are among his most celebrated works, bringing exceptional ornithological precision and compositional confidence to the kachō-ga (bird-and-flower) tradition he inherited from his nihonga training. These bird subjects demonstrate both the depth of his classical grounding and the independent vision of his sosaku-hanga practice, which transformed traditional subject types through the force of personal observation and technical mastery.
