Description
An abstract composition built from diagonal bands of blue and green washing across the sheet, overlaid with a network of thin black lines that zigzag and cross, each terminating in small rounded dots or elongated pin-like shapes. Scattered among the black elements are pale white/gray strokes with rounded tips, a single maroon-outlined circle, and a small cluster of concentric blue rings, giving the surface a scattered, rain-like rhythm. Woodblock print, "Rain B," by Chizuko Yoshida, 1954.
