Description
"Wave" (2024) by Elspeth Lamb, watercolour. The composition is framed by vertical striped bands in violet and dark purple on either side, with a white cloth marked by red drips or stains hanging along the right edge. Within the central frame, stylized scalloped wave forms in turquoise and deep indigo repeat across the middle ground beneath a pale triangular peak and a marbled sky rendered in blue, white, and ochre swirls, while horizontal blue striations fill the foreground.
