*Dream* (1993), a reverse painting on glass by Gen Yamanaka, presents an abstract composition on a pale blue-grey ground: a large amorphous form in graduated tones of blue and violet occupies the left and center, with a small vertical dark red-brown mark to its right and a single tiny orange dot near the form's lower edge. The piece is non-figurative, with soft, rounded edges to the central shape and a smooth, uniform background. A signature is inscribed in the lower left corner of the painted surface.
