Description
Abstract composition in muted blue-grey, dominated by a soft rectangular wash of pale slate blue interrupted by two black brushstrokes—one horizontal band across the upper edge, one vertical block at the right. Within the grey field, a white crescent or boat-like form outlined in pencil sits lower left, containing a small solid green leaf shape, while a loose looping scribble in blue-violet appears at right; faint pencil marks (an edition number and signature) appear in the lower corners. Signed and dated 1995, the sheet is matted and framed in a light wood frame; the palette and handling are soft-edged and muted rather than sharply defined.
