Description
An abstract composition dominated by a mottled grey ground textured with fine scratched lines, bordered on the left by a solid dark brown vertical band. At center, a round blue form with a dark aperture sits atop a small yellow burst, with thin curling lines in red, teal, and dark ink radiating outward like tendrils or stamens; a brown wedge with a jagged white seam points into the blue form from the right. Below, a tall irregular outline drawn in dark blue contains a small grid of blue and pink cross-hatched lines, with faint splashes of pink and blue dots in the upper right corner; the artist's pencil signature and the title in Japanese characters appear at the lower edge.
