Description
Five bursts of fireworks—white and pale yellow starburst chrysanthemum shapes—explode against a solid black night sky, with reddish-orange trails still rising from below toward two of them. Along the bottom edge, a dense crowd of dark silhouetted spectators watches, several with arms raised, set against a low band of hazy pink-tinted light near the horizon. "Summer Fireworks," a 2019 mezzotint by Katsunori Hamanishi, is framed within a wide white margin bearing the pencil-signed title and edition notations.
