Description

A round white ceramic plate holds a single rectangular brushstroke of dark red-brown pigment slightly below center, its surface built from visible vertical striations left by the brush. The rest of the plate is bare white, leaving broad empty space around the mark, with the artist's signature and date, "L. Uf '09," inscribed in the same red-brown pigment near the bottom edge.
