"You and me only" originated from a printing error: working tired and in haste, Cozzolino reached for the wrong matrix while reprinting an existing edition of "View of Silence" and pulled two impressions before recognising the mistake. Rather than discarding the result, she released it as a small new edition under a new title — a working method consistent with the experimental, self-directed character of her studio practice. Mokuhanga is unusually permissive of this kind of accident: because each colour is brushed onto the block and printed by hand with a baren, swapping in a different block produces an unexpected but coherent image rather than a ruined sheet. The print depends on the chance interaction of one composition's matrix with another's intended palette and registration. Cozzolino has periodically released prints generated through similar deviations from her planned editions, treating misregistration and substitution as productive rather than failed events. The edition is small, hand-printed by the artist, and signed.
