Description
A snow-capped Mt. Fuji rises above a foreground of trees, thatched-roof farmhouses, and a small footbridge crossing a stream, rendered in fine etched line work in sepia and grey tones on cream paper. The composition is horizontal, with the mountain centered and dominant against a plain sky, while the lower third holds the rural village detail. This etching by Norikane Hiroto, titled "Mt. Fuji," is signed in pencil and numbered within an edition, with a small red seal beside the signature.
