Description
An abstract composition of dense, scratchy black etched lines overlaid with three flat color blocks: a blue square in the upper left, a thin yellow horizontal band across the center, and a small red oval on the right. A thick black calligraphic form resembling a forked or branching shape dominates the right-center, while looser linear marks suggesting plant-like or figurative fragments run along the lower left. Pencil-signed "Noriko" and numbered 13/20 in the lower margin, this 2019 drypoint etching by Noriko Saito, titled *Echo of Spring 2*, balances its gestural black linework against the three isolated patches of color.
