Description
Mt. Fuji rises pale and faint in the misty background, its snow-capped peak barely distinguishable from the grey-white sky. In the foreground, several wooden fishing boats with tall bare masts sit clustered at the water's edge, rendered in muted grey and brown tones with minimal outline detail. The composition is quiet and hazy, dominated by negative space and soft atmospheric gradation, with a red seal mark in the lower right corner. Woodblock print by Ogata Gekko.
