Description
A red-bodied dragonfly with translucent gray-veined wings hovers at the center, poised beside a curling green stem, while large blue-green lotus leaves—one torn and drooping at the upper left, another spreading in the lower right—frame the scene alongside a pale yellow lotus bud and blossom. Thin grass blades cross the muted grayish-beige background near the base, and the artist's red seal and black signature appear at right. *Dragonfly and Lotus* (Ohara Koson, 1920) is a woodblock print in ink and color on paper, rendered in a soft, muted palette with a quiet, still mood.
