Description
Two white lily blossoms with orange-tipped stamens open at upper left and lower center, joined by an unopened bud, against a plain pale blue-gray ground; a tall stalk with narrow dark-green leaves rises along the right side of the composition. A red seal is placed near the lower right, with columns of Japanese text at the lower left. Ohara Koson's 1928 woodblock print uses fine outlines and embossing to render the layered petals in white and cream against the flat backdrop.
