Description
An abstract composition of overlapping geometric and organic shapes: a bright yellow rectangular form tilted off-axis dominates the center, printed with a black capital letter "F" and a small black dot, set against an irregular black shape below and marbled gray-and-white and tan passages above. The color print combines woodblock printing with an affixed object, giving the yellow and black planes a flat, cut-paper quality against the softer, mottled tan and gray grounds. *Composition No. 7: Yellow Book*, Onchi Koshiro, 1954, woodblock and object print.
