Description

"Dusk" (Yoi) evokes the hour between sundown and full dark — that brief window when the sky holds its last warmth and the world below begins to merge into shadow. In Japanese aesthetics, yoi (early evening) is associated with transition, the moment when the day's energies begin to quiet and the night's different register begins to assert itself. Binnie's bokashi gradations at dusk would move through warm amber and rose toward the cooler blues and purples of approaching night, charting the sky's transformation with atmospheric precision.
