Description
A long tunnel of vermillion torii gates recedes toward a bright vanishing point, their black-capped bases lining a pale stone path dappled with streaks of sunlight and shadow. The repeating gates and beams create a dense, rhythmic perspective grid in orange, black, and gold against the pale washi ground, with the artist's pencil signature and seal at the lower right. Ray Morimura's 2016 woodblock print, "The Light Shines on Fushimi Torii."
