A large bird with a hooked beak fills the composition in profile, facing left, its body and wings covered in dense white striations, dots, and cross-hatching carved into a solid black silhouette. It perches among a few round, textured berries or fruits on bare branches at lower left and right, printed in the same black-on-white line technique.
