Description
A dense black woodblock grid frames vertical columns of Japanese calligraphic text running down the right and center of the composition, with a small red/orange seal stamp near the left-center. Hand-applied watercolor washes of pink, violet, and pale green-blue fill the negative spaces between the black linework, alongside scattered small motifs (star-like florets, triangular and geometric fragments, dot clusters, and a cluster of small roof-like shapes in the lower right). The sheet is signed and dated in pencil at the lower left, and the print sits on cream Japanese paper with visible deckle-edged borders.
