Description
A riverside scene rendered with Ono's characteristic graphic economy, stripping the familiar motif of trees, reflections, and flowing water down to bold planes of color and strong contour lines. Ono brought a modernist reporter's eye to the natural world as much as to city streets, treating the river's edge as a study in the tension between organic form and geometric reduction.
