Description
The Eiffel Tower's iron lattice rises at the edge of the composition, probably glimpsed from a neighboring street rather than framed as a tourist icon. Ono's Paris views resist the postcard approach — he was more interested in the city's texture and scale than its monuments, finding the narrow streets and zinc rooftops as visually compelling as any landmark.
