Description
A monochrome etching depicting a cluster of steep-roofed thatched farmhouses tucked among dense trees, with one tiled-roof building at lower left; the peaked gables and layered thatch dominate the composition against a wooded hillside behind. Rendered entirely in fine black ink hatching on cream paper, with no human figures present, the print is signed and numbered in pencil below the image. Tanaka Ryohei created this etching, titled *Summer Village*, in 1980.
