Description
A radiating burst of fireworks fills a circular field against a black ground, its edges bleeding into a cross-shaped frame with striped bands of green, blue, and yellow at the compass points. Fine white-gold sparks shoot outward from a bright central point through layers of magenta, crimson, and orange bloom, with scattered spots of yellow and white light suggesting secondary bursts within the explosion. The print is signed "S. Taniguchi" in pencil at lower right and numbered at lower left, consistent with the 2003 silkscreen "Hanabi (Fireworks)" by Taniguchi Shigeru.
