In the Docks

A dark steam locomotive dominates the lower half of the composition, its white smoke billowing against a nocturnal industrial dockside of tall cranes, girders, and rigging rendered in deep indigo blues and blacks. An orange-lit structure glows at left, throwing warm light across scattered dockworkers silhouetted near the tracks, while a red artist's seal marks the lower left corner.
