Description
A tall, narrow vertical composition dense with slashing red and yellow streaks over a deep blue-violet ground, suggesting a thicket of branches or grasses rendered in an abstract, gestural style. Near the bottom, a pale white/cream circular form (a moon) sits low against the dark blue field, with a few slender pale vertical lines (birch-like trunks) rising through the tangle above it. *Scenery 19-2*, a 2019 woodblock print by Yuichi Hasegawa, is signed and numbered in pencil in the lower margin.
