Description
An abstract composition dominated by deep blue, spattered pigment surrounding a central mottled form in muted brown, violet, and grey with a pale, textured core suggesting an organic mass or seabed formation. The blue field fades to white in the lower portion, scattered with small dark blue dots, and the panel is signed "yayanagi - 65" in the lower right. Go Yayanagi executed this untitled-looking, non-representational scene in oil on panel in 1965, titled *The Seabed*.
