"Stepmother" is a shin-hanga print by Hirezaki Eiho, created during the Taisho-Showa. Hirezaki Eiho was a Tokyo-born artist who produced bijin-ga (beautiful women) prints for Watanabe Shozaburo while simultaneously working as one of the leading magazine illustrators of his era. His images of women combine commercial appeal with genuine artistic refinement.
