Description
"Fallen Leaves A" draws on autumn's most iconic motif — the fallen leaf — and channels it through Tajima's abstracting sensibility so that what arrives on the paper is not a leaf but the experience of falling, of color departing from form, of things beautiful in their dissolution. Warm ochres, rusted reds, and cool dark grounds suggest autumnal palettes without representing specific foliage. The "A" designation indicates this is the first in a series of related explorations.
