Description
A calm expanse of pale blue-grey water fills most of the composition, with a low dark green headland and hazy mountain silhouettes running along the horizon beneath a soft pink-and-blue sky. In the foreground a small motorized boat with a dark hull and cabin carries a single standing figure in white, while several smaller boats sit further out on the water; the artist's signature and red seal appear in the lower left. The framed print's muted, atmospheric palette and quiet fishing scene are consistent with its title, Inland Sea, by Ishikawa Toraji.
