Description
A vertical composition entirely in pale, chalky green, divided by faint horizontal and vertical seams into a loose grid of narrow panel-like sections, with a broken horizontal band crossing the middle. Rows of small rectangular grey-blue tabs, evenly spaced, run along the top and bottom edges, and the surface shows soft mottling, thin scratches, and areas of built-up, uneven texture. There are no figures or legible imagery; the effect is abstract and quiet, consistent with the acrylic and lead collage technique noted for this 1994 work by Junji Amano.
