Description
A wide horizontal composition built from clusters of oval, cell-like forms in gold and ochre tones, some outlined and filled with fine cross-hatched texture, others left as flat pale shapes. A band of reddish-orange curves across the top and dips down through the center, while pooling shapes in blue and green gather along the lower right edge against a cream-colored ground. *Inlet*, a 2011 woodcut by Karen Kunc combining mokuhanga woodblock printing with watercolor and wax, in shades of red, gold, ochre, blue, and green on off-white paper.
