Description
A twelfth untitled print by Nakajima Kiyoshi. His compositions typically center on female figures in outdoor spaces — fields, riverbanks, garden paths — where the interaction between the human figure and the natural world's atmospheric conditions creates the work's emotional charge. Women in Nakajima's prints are not positioned against nature as subjects against backgrounds but are embedded within it, their hair and clothing animated by the same wind that moves the grass and water around them, making the figure and the landscape continuous aspects of a single experience.
