Description
A twenty-fourth untitled print by Nakajima Kiyoshi. His oeuvre as a whole — the titled series with their evocative wind and weather titles, the compositions depicting women and children in seasonal landscapes, the sustained attention to the atmospheric quality of natural experience — constitutes one of the most coherent artistic visions in Showa-era Japanese printmaking. Even in its untitled individual works, this vision is fully legible.
