Description

A tall vertical panel of embossed, textured off-white paper framed by a dark sage-green border, printed within a narrower cream mat. Four abstracted, calligraphy-like white-on-white forms resembling stylized characters or seals are stacked down the panel in low relief, accented by two small solid color marks — a dark red teardrop shape and a mustard-orange circle — placed between the middle glyphs. A red seal stamp appears in the lower right corner, with a pencil edition number ("68/153") at the bottom left and the title and signature inscribed in pencil beneath the print. Medium: woodblock print. Artist: Maki Haku. Title: Poem 70-22 (Language). Year: unknown.
