Description
Kanzaki Yogoro Noriyasu of the Gishi Shijushichi-zu series represents the warrior's portrait within the comprehensive framework of the forty-seven ronin documentation. Kanzaki was among the younger members of the group, his comparative youth distinguishing him from the older veterans in ways that Gekko might have rendered through physical bearing and facial expression—the eagerness of a young man entering into his first and defining act of loyalty.
