Description
A coastal landscape with layered blue mountain ridges receding into mist beneath a red sun, and a small figure poling a boat across the calm water. In the foreground, gnarled pine trees with clustered green needles and a bare, twisting tree rise from a sandy shore scattered with rocks and dark seabirds. The palette is soft blue-gray and tan with the sun as the only strong accent; a red seal appears near the artist's signature at lower right.
