Description
Against a black background, one standing figure at left holds a curling white ribbon-like form and touches a spray of white blossoms and dark foliage, rendered in bold red, white, blue, green, and yellow patterned blocks. To the right, three faces with pale, patterned features are stacked in profile, separated from the left figure by a vertical white band. The print is bordered by the deep-toned, deckle-edged handmade paper, with the artist's signature and an edition number penciled in the lower corners; "Sadao Watanabe, 1962" is inscribed at bottom center.
