Shisendo Kyoto (F)

Rounded, undulating green hedges fill the middle ground in a bold, simplified pattern, with a white two-tiered pagoda roof rising against a mottled grey stippled sky at center. A black lattice screen with diamond-shaped openings frames the left edge, a thin dark tree trunk and shadowy dark foliage frame the right, and a reddish-brown strip of ground runs along the bottom.
