Description
Four Miniature Prints presents a set of small-format compositions — each a condensed version of the kind of atmospheric subject Asano explored at larger scale. Miniature prints required extreme economy of means: the compressed format forced decisive choices about what elements were essential to each composition, and the resulting images had a directness and concentration that larger formats sometimes diluted. This set likely presented four different seasonal or scenic subjects, each complete in its small compass.
