Typical Price
Tozinbo (an alternate romanization of Tojinbo) depicts the same famous Fukui coastline with its dramatic columnar basalt sea cliffs. This version may represent a different printing or slight compositional variation. Expect prices between $150-$500, with the usual premium for early impressions that retain the sharpest line detail and most vibrant wave coloring.
Description
Tozinbo (alternate romanization of Tojinbo) presents the same dramatic basalt cliff formation on the Fukui coast — its extraordinary geological columns creating a natural architecture that rivaled in formal interest any of the built structures Asano more typically depicted. The cliff's sheer vertical faces, the texture of the hexagonal columns' surfaces, and the constant assault of the sea at their base created a composition of considerable visual energy, the static geological mass animated by the dynamic water surrounding and assaulting it.
